get xreal glasses and a foldable keyboard/ pocket mouse. then use google remote desktop and you have 100% your desktop at your fingertips, or RDP and a vpn into your network. I do video editing on my home pc/work pc from dex and my fold 5 all the time... Its that easy guys.....

Your video just convinced me MORE that most of the Samsung apps are bloatware. A video meant to make a case for them reminding me why I don't even need or want them.

I have the book3 ultra, and can upgrade to the book4 ultra for around $450 net with my EPP discount, the extra wattage on gpu, touchscreen, better hinges, and more power efficient processor makes it seem worth it, thoughts?

Samsung could have an easy win to showcase DeX by letting it run directly on the inner display on the Fold series. They don't and seemingly won't allow that. There is a thread on Samsung Members that's now a few years old and is the most commented, most liked thread on all of Samsung Members asking for this. Samsung has done nothing. A DeX capable computer in your pocket, no external screen required. Could be a great sales pitch, but Samsung doesn't bother. I used DeX as my primary PC for three years. The lack of quality software and the superficial updates Samsung gave DeX which did nothing to address long standing fundamental issues led me back to Windows. I still have a Fold and would consider switching back if I could run DeX directly on my Fold, but until then...

Brilliant feature I use alot ,as I don't use AOD, though . I wish we could pin it to the home screen as well

Case finding. if not that when headphones are in the case be able to use the find to sound the headphones while in the case.

iOS is based on app isolation, so #5 seems irrelevant, you don't need an "isloated" workspace as it is already there. iOS 18 has "hidden/locked" app folders and you can also individually lock apps. It also works on iPhone Xs. Split screen is there aready in iPad OS which is basically iOS for bigger screens, so not sure what "Apple don't have" means. There are also gazzilions of note apps, why would I ever need Apple to implement every gimmik out there? It is a smart phone it is supposed to allow you install apps, not get them built-in (bloat-in) the OS.

How do I delete such notes on my always on display. Secondly, can I save such notes and how do I do that?? Explain in details please 🤔

Just some food for thought! The first one is - What is the obsession with good lock ? Because most people don't realize most of these features are native to Android! My second one is what are the security and or privacy issues with good lock especially because they come from the Galaxy app store. Because if you are observant 95% of the apps for Galaxy on the Galaxy app store can also be found on the Play store which have better security and privacy policies. If anyone has any answers, I'm open

This update totally messed up my battery. Went from 8h to 5h with no difference in phone usage.

I hope they address the nickel allergy issue. They had exposed charging contacts that touch people's ears and then caused severe ear infections. Not everyone has nickel allergy, but many do and post about. There was even a lawsuit about it.

I'm excited that in a few years I'll probably replace my laptop with a tablet capable of doing all the things I can do now on my laptop. I think Samsung's DeX is likely to be a huge part of the moving to tablets replacing laptops. I want that desktop capabilities and experiences, so DeX.

Are they as good as Pixel Buds Pro? I have those but a Samsung phone now so I'm considering switching.

One problem is that certain apps are not able to run two instances of themselves at the same time. On a proper computer, you are often using two windows of word processor to move things back and forth. You cannot do that on Android. It is getting better, but it depends on developers, if they want to support this feature. You also cannot drag and drop or copy-paste between applications, like you are used on a proper computer. I have never realized, how often I was using this feature, until I tried to use Android in desktop mode.

As an Samsung Galaxy Android fan that is forced to use an iPhone on my company provided phone, I have to admit the iphone does a much better job of facial unlock in any lighting conditions. This is the one thing that the Galaxy used to dominate in but not anymore.

While 100x photos are beautiful on phones using a similar 5x sensor (like Oppo Find X7 Ultra), on Samsung they are muddy, high contrast and colors are wrong. It's not the hardware's fault here, Samsung's zoom algorithm is wrong and should be updated. But Samsung doesn't seem to have much to do with it.

Battery needs a serious upgrade. Flip 5 battery life is straight up TRASH !!!

I'd love for you to explore termux and termux-x11 to see what could potentially be done. There are multiple ways of running fully fledged apps via termux. I've seen lots of people talking about replacing their laptop with Samsung DeX, but it's always been in the context of content creators. Never in other contexts.

The screen-off memo is the best option I used in business meetings and on-the-go memos or reminders. I wish the ZFold had this feature for the outside Screen.

DEX is my favourite productivity feature, turning the phone into a desktop by simply connecting it to a screen, keyboard and mouse.
